Located just 6 miles up Little Cottonwood Canyon, and 25 miles from downtown Salt Lake City, Snowbird is the closest alpine resort to an international airport in North America. 2019 Vascular Fellows Program
We invite you to consider sending a fellow or trainee to this outstanding program and to attend our 2019 Annual Meeting. This program is limited to 30 individuals and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Vascular Technology Forum
The 2019 Tech Exchange will focus on broad vascular pathology, emphasizing industry insight into current and up-and-coming technology, as well as what treating physicians may see in the near future.
Next Generation Medical Student Symposium
This symposium seeks to empower the next generation of medical students to experience the clinical challenges, technological innovation, translational research, and fellowship that defines our important specialty.
The Preliminary Program for the 2019 Winter Meeting will be available in early Fall.
Registration will be open soon. The Deadline for Early Bird Registration is December 15, 2018. Registration will close on Friday, January 14, 2019. Included in your registration fee are all scientific sessions (including the Technology Forum), entrance to the exhibit hall, continental breakfast, coffee breaks and the Welcome Reception on Thursday evening. The President’s Dinner is by separate subscription and tickets are required for all registrants and their guests.

Be sure to make your reservations early as rooms will most likely sell out and the average room rate outside our meeting block will increase. Reservations must be made by 5:00 pm (Eastern) Wednesday, December 12, 2018, to guarantee the group rate and can be made by contacting the Cliff Lodge directly at 800-453-3000. After this deadline, or if the VESS block of rooms sells out prior to the above mentioned deadline, availability and rates cannot be guaranteed. Please mention the VESS 2019 Annual Meeting to ensure the discounted rate. The group code is 2C58OV. We strongly recommend making your reservations as early as possible. We anticipate selling out of our discounted rooms early.
Room rates are subject to tax (currently at 11.6%). In addition, a reduced daily resort fee of $25.00 per room per night has been negotiated for VESS attendees. This fee includes high speed wireless internet in lodging rooms and most public space, free self parking at all lodges plus valet at the Cliff, fitness center use, in-room coffee at the Cliff Lodge and hot beverages in business center. It also includes access to private ski and snowboard storage lockers. Check-in time is 4:00pm. Check-out time is 12:00pm. Guests arriving before 4:00 pm will be accommodated as rooms become available.

Ski Lift Tickets
The Cliff Lodge has ski-in / ski-out access, an onsite ski rental/repair shop and complimentary ski lockers to add to your convenience. On behalf of our meeting attendees, special discounted rates for ski tickets have been secured through Snowbird Resort.
Tickets may (and should) be reserved in advance. There is no guarantee that discounted tickets will be available after the January 14th deadline.
If you plan to begin skiing before Thursday, January 31st please be sure to indicate this on the registration questionnaire. Arrangements will be made to have your lift tickets available in advance. Otherwise, tickets will be available at the registration desk during regular meeting registration hours.

Ski Lift Ticket Rates
Snowbird Resort is a convenient 45 minute drive from Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC)
To Snowbird from Salt Lake City International Airport
Take I-80 east to I-215 south. Take Exit 6 (6200 South) and go east on 6200 South, toward the mountains. This road will lead you straight to UT-210 and up Little Cottonwood Canyon to Snowbird.
To Snowbird from Downtown Salt Lake City
Go west on 500 South to I-15 and head south. Exit at I-215 heading east. Get off at Exit 6 (6200 South) and go east on 6200 South, toward the mountains. This road will lead you straight to UT-210 and up Little Cottonwood Canyon to Snowbird.
To Snowbird from Park City and Points East
Take UT-224 west and north to I-80. On I-80, head west toward the Salt Lake Valley. Take Exit 130 to I-215 south. Get off at Exit 6 (6200 South) and go east on 6200 South, toward the mountains. This road will lead you straight to UT-210 and up Little Cottonwood Canyon to Snowbird.
To Snowbird from Points South
Take I-15 north to Exit 295 (9000 South). Turn right onto 9000 South. This street becomes 9400 South, which takes you to the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon. Go right on UT-210. Six miles to Snowbird.
