The Foundation for Vascular Innovation (FVI) is a non-profit organization established to support educational and research activities in the area of vascular disease discovery, prevention, and treatment.
The FVI will work closely with the Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Society (VESS) and its 950 members in choosing worthwhile research programs to support via grants. The FVI plans to expand research support in order to foster new discoveries and innovations in the area of treatment of cerebrovascular, aneurysm, occlusive and venous diseases that afflict many of our patients. The goals of the Foundation for Vascular Innovation (FVI) are:
- Foster research activities among vascular surgeons, surgeon-scientists, trainees in vascular disease and medical students.
- Provide grants for research endeavors, training, and career development.
- Engage with medical industry partners to promote research and innovation in vascular disease and treatment.
