  • Why did you become a vascular surgeon?

I became a vascular surgeon because I love the unique combination of technical challenge, endovascular and open surgery across the entire body, drive for continuous innovation, need for preoperative planning and creative problem solving, and long-term relationship with patients.

  • Why did you join VESS?

I joined VESS because I came to the meeting as a fellow and loved the camaraderie, focus on young surgeons, and spirit of excitement about vascular surgery in beautiful winter setting.
