  • Why did you become a vascular surgeon?

I was always impressed by the technical aspects of both open vascular and endovascular surgery. Every case can be managed in many ways and it is really a specialty in which you are challenged to be creative daily. Moreover, I am fascinated by endovascular technology, device design and how we can be part of development of such devices/technologies which could benefit thousands of patients in the future.

  • Why did you join the VESS?

This is a very lively society that was always welcoming of vascular trainees and young surgeons, with great opportunity for professional growth and connecting with like-minded individuals at the always fun and engaging Winter and Summer meetings!
