VESS is now accepting abstracts for the 2027 Annual Winter Meeting. All submissions must be completed by Monday, August 31, 2026.
Trainee Education / Special Programming
Programming will take place in Steamboat Springs, CO on Thursday, January 21, 2027.
Applications received by September 30, 2026 will be in the first round of consideration.

The 2027 Technology Forum will focus on broad vascular pathology and will showcase some of the best that industry has to offer. The emphasis of this program is for industry to provide insight into current and up-and-coming technology, as well as what treating physicians may see in the near future as it relates to developments in the pipeline. It will also provide opportunity for an intensive, hands-on experience in a small group format that provides a granular experience for the participating physicians.
Open to all registered attendees.

Early Bird Registration ends Friday, December 18, 2026. Regular Registration starts on Saturday, December 19, 2026 and ends Monday, January 4, 2027.
Included in your registration fee are all scientific sessions, as well as any industry sponsored sessions, the Thursday Vascular Technology Forum, Welcome Reception, and access to the Exhibit Hall.
Make plans to attend the 2027 President’s Dinner on Saturday, January 23 at 7:00pm. Dinner & Entertainment are included.
The President’s Dinner is by separate subscription. Ticket prices are: Adult ($25/each) and Children 12-18 ($25). Children under 12 are free but still require a ticket.

Deposit: 10% of the lodging and activity cost are due at time of booking; full and final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival.
Resort Fee Includes: Equipment valet for ski and snowboard storage, local downtown and grocery shuttle service, early morning coffee and newspapers in the lobby, in-room safe, unlimited local calls, and Wi-Fi.
Cancellation Policy
Reservations cancelled between time of reservation and 30 days prior to arrival forfeit the 10% of total reservation. Cancellations within 30 days of arrival forfeit the entire amount. No refund for late arrivals, early departures, no-shows, or downgrades.
Terms
- Reservations must be made by 5:00 pm (Eastern) on Friday, December 18, 2026, to guarantee the group rate. After this deadline, or if the VESS block of rooms sells out prior to the above-mentioned deadline, availability and rates cannot be guaranteed.
- Mention the VESS 2027 Annual Meeting to ensure the discounted rate.
- We strongly recommend making your reservations as early as possible. We anticipate selling out of our discounted rooms early.
- Check-in time is 4:00pm. Check-out time is 11:00am. Guests arriving before 4:00 pm will be accommodated as rooms become available.

Run of House Room Rate: $269.00++ – Current state & local taxes are 11.40% and Resort fee is $20.00 per day.
An early departure fee of one-nights room and tax will apply if an attendee checks out prior to the confirmed checkout date.

SKI LIFT TICKET INFORMATION
Steamboat Resort
The VESS has secured discounted rates for Lift Tickets at the Steamboat Resort.
This year this is one daily rate of $135.00 per day for all age groups. The only exception is that children ages 4 & under are only $10.00 per day.
Lift tickets are non-refundable unless there is a documented medical injury.

Airport
Yampa Valley Regional Airport (HDN): The Hayden airport is located just a few miles east of Hayden and approximately 22 miles/35 km west of Steamboat Springs off Highway 40. From the airport, take the access road about 2 miles/3.2 km out to Highway 40 and turn right. Steamboat is about 22 miles/35 km east. While there is no public bus service from the airport, but shuttle services are available.
Denver International Airport: 157 miles/250 km northwest of Denver, an easy 3 hour drive. Take I-70 west through the Eisenhower Tunnel to Silverthorne, Exit 205 (67 miles/107 km). Take CO 9 North to Kremmling (37 miles/59 km), then West on US 40 to Steamboat Springs (53 miles/85 km).
